About Golbarg

Empowering business through technology

Founded with a vision to bridge the gap between businesses and technology, Golbarg has grown into a trusted software development company serving clients worldwide.

We build our own products while partnering with businesses to create custom software, websites and mobile applications that drive growth and efficiency. Based in Kabul, Afghanistan, our team of developers and designers brings international-quality solutions to every project.

How Golbarg works, as a loop: a business need, a plan you sign off, built in increments, in daily use, and what it teaches feeding the next phase.Softwarepeople useevery dayA business needA plan you sign offBuilt in incrementsIn daily useWhat it teaches

01A shop, an office, a ministry: records in spreadsheets, customers on phones.

Our story

From our own apps to systems for businesses

  1. The start

Golbarg was founded in Kabul in 2019 to bridge the gap between businesses and technology, building software for companies and public institutions.

  2. Our own products

We publish what we build: 7 Android apps on Google Play, from TodayGerman and Nahjol Fasahe to AutoSilent and the Tailwind CSS cheat sheet, each with its own privacy policy and support.

  3. Systems for businesses

The same team builds and runs Golbarg Sarafi for money-exchange shops and Golbarg HR for human-resources departments.

  4. The purpose

To give companies in Afghanistan and abroad software they own, understand and can rely on, from people who answer the phone after launch.

Mission and vision

Our mission

Building the future, one line of code at a time

Our mission is to deliver world-class software solutions that empower businesses to achieve their full potential. We believe in the transformative power of technology, and we are committed to making it accessible and impactful for organisations of every size.

Our vision

Software people use every day

A company known for products that stay installed and systems that stay in use: built in Kabul, used in Afghanistan and far beyond it.

Our values

What we hold ourselves to

The same four things, whether the work is one of our own apps or a system we build for you.

  • Innovation

We push boundaries to deliver solutions that are current, not merely familiar.

  • Transparency

Open communication and honest collaboration at every step, including bad news early.

  • Quality

We never compromise on what we hand over: tested, reviewed and documented.

  • Teamwork

A collaborative approach that brings the best out of your people and ours.

Platforms and technologies

A standard, well-known stack

Nothing exotic: any competent team can pick up what we hand over, which is the point.
